1800C Compact Vacuum Tube Furnace (60mm OD) with Kanthal Heating Elements - GSL-1800X-KS60

GSL-1800X-KS60 is a compact tube furnace with Kanthal Super-1900C Grade MoSi2 Heating Elements and high-quality alumina refractory board with ZrO2 liner. Vacuum sealing flanges with valves, a vacuum gauge, and a high-purity alumina processing tube (60mmO.Dx 610 mm L) are included for immediate use. The temperature of the GSL-1800X-KS60 tube furnace is controlled by a 30-segment programmable high-precision SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) digital controller with an accuracy of +/-1 ºC. This tube furnace has a max. working temperature up to 1800 ºC. It is widely used in material & chemical research labs to sinter all types of new material samples under vacuum and other gas conditions.

Processing Tube	Premier Grade alumina tube made in the USA ID: 60mm x OD: 54 mm x 790 mm length Four fibrous ceramic tube blocks are included for blocking heat radiation from the inside tube (Ceramic blocks must be fully inserted into the furnace chamber before heating). For 60mm tubes, it is recommended that customers purchase two pairs of tube support to prevent the tube from bending under high temperatures (please click on the last picture to order).
Sealing Flanges	One pair of sealing flange with double silicone high-temperature O-ring is included. Two SS needle valves and one dial vacuum gauge are installed with a flange for immediate use. Vacuum pressure can reach 50 mTorr by a quality mechanical vacuum pump and 10^-5 torr by a turbo molecular pump. Please click the picture below to see the flange assembling details.
Fitting Ports	Standard 1/4‘’ Barbed fittings with needle valves. For supplying high-pressure gas, you may replace the standard barbed hose fitting with the 304SS 1/4" Swagelok® Tube Fitting, please click underlined to order. How to set up ceramic tube and vacuum flange for MTI Tube furnace  Proper placement of tube blocks The tube furnaces with alumina tube are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.02 MPa Never use graphite crucible in the alumina tube. Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator. Never heat the furnace while the gas release valve is closed and a positive pressure condition exists within the furnace chamber. The pressure gauge must be used to closely monitor the chamber condition at all times during the heating process; please open the gas release valve immediately once the chamber pressure has reached over 3 PSI to prevent unforeseeable damages. The gas flow rate should be limited to < 200 SCCM ( or 200ml/min ) Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1500°C
