1200C Split Tube Furnace (18" heating zone) with Optional Quartz Tube Size & Flange - OTF1200X

OTF-1200X-UL furnace is configurated to meet UL/CSA certificate standards. The furnace can adopt a 60, 75, 80, or 100mm O.D quartz tube and a pair of stainless steel vacuum sealing flanges with needle valves & gauge allow heating samples under vacuum or gas flow conditions. The temperature of this tube furnace is controlled by a high-precision digital controller which provides 30 programmable segments with +/- 1°C accuracy. The max. working temperature is 1200°C. 

SPECIFICATIONS:

Furnace Structure
  • A double-layer steel casing with air cooling keeps furnace surface temperature lower than 60°C.
  • High purity fibrous alumina insulation for maximum energy saving.
  • The special refractory coating on the liner and heating element increases furnace life.
  • Split cover with Interlock protection, cut the power if the door opens during furnace heating process.

Multi-Stack Quartz Thermal Block
Refractory Blocks
  • Two fibrous ceramic tube blocks are included for blocking heat radiation from the inside tube. (Ceramic blocks must be fully inserted into the furnace chamber before heating)
  • Quartz blocks (optional) are ideal for cleaner processing and higher vacuum efficiency.
  • You may order flange support to avoid tube rotating ( click Pic below right )

Vacuum Flange
  • One pair of SS 304 vacuum flange is included
  • Left flange:
    • one thermal feedthrough (for 1/4O.D sheathed thermocouple)
    • one needle valve
    • one mechanical vacuum gauge -0.1Mpa to 0.15Mpa
    • one barb fitting ( click PiC, below left-2 for detail)
  • Right flange:
    • one KF-25 vacuum port and one needle valve.
  • Optional
  • An anti-Corrosive gas-type independent (above 10mbar) digital vacuum gauge with a wide range between 3.8x10-5 to 1125 Torr is optional. Aside from greater measurement precision, this gauge reduces the risks of chamber explosions caused by the incorrect reading of gas pressures due to gas-type dependency.
  • The flange with quartz window is available for in-situ Raman or Mossbauer analysis

  • 10E-2 torr by a quality mechanical vacuum pump 
  • 10E-5 torr by the turbopump.
