KSL-1200X-M-UL is a muffle furnace that offers a 12" x 12" x 12" high purity fibrous alumina chamber, gas inlet and outlet ports, and a 30 programmable segments temperature controller and UL / MET / CSA Certified electric components. It is the ideal muffle furnace for preparing samples with temperatures up to 1100 °C in research and dental labs with maximum energy saving. 

SPECIFICATIONS


Structure
  • High-purity fibrous alumina insulation for maximum energy saving.
  • Heating elements on all three sides of the interior chamber for fast heating and enhanced temperature uniformity.
  • Double-layer steel structure with air cooling fan to keep furnace's exteriors safe to touch.
  • The safety interlock will automatically power off the furnace when the door is opened.
  • Built-in vent port (top) to remove undesirable contaminants and moisture and extend the lifespan of the heating elements and furnace.

  • 208~240V AC, Single phase, 50/60 Hz
  • 7.5 kW, 40 A. 
  • Note: A power cord is included without a power plug. 
    A proper power plug is available via the figure on the left.

Application Notes
  • For longer furnace service life, we recommend the heating rate not to exceed 10 °C /min.
  • The cooling rate shall also not exceed 10 °C /min.
  • This furnace lacks vacuum sealing, and it is not recommended to use toxic or explosive gases in this furnace without the necessary safety controls and supervision. 
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence, and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating.
