Three Zone Alumina Tube Furnace with Vacuum* Flanges (60, 80 or 100mm OD. 1700C Max.) - GSL-1700X-III

GSL-1700X-III is a three-zone tube furnace with a complete vacuum sealing flange. Each heating zone is 12" in length and controlled by three precision 30-segment digital temperature controllers independently. One zone (center zone) is heated by Super-1800 MoSi2 elements up to 1700°C, and another two zones are heated by SiC elements up to 1400°C. The tube furnace can create various thermal gradients by adjusting three zones. It is an excellent furnace to prepare functional materials under thermal gradient, and can also be used for epitaxial film growth by CVD.

Temperature Controllers

  • Three digital controllers with microprocessor-based PID control and self-tuning
  • Each has 30 segments programmable with protection for overheated and broken thermocouples
  • Temperature Accuracy: +/- 1ºC
  • Thermal Couple: One B type(210mm long TC for the central zone), two S type (210mm long TC for side zones)

European Temperature Controllers (optional upgrade)

  • 1 heating channel
  • 1 program of 8 or 24 segments
  • Alarm Relay: Form 'A' and Form ‘C’ built-in 
  • Digital Communications: RS-485
  • Temperature Accuracy: ± 0.1ºC
  • Recipes: Using a PC tool, recipes can be created that can be used to change the operating parameters of the 3000 simply by selecting a new recipe via the HMI. This is very useful where multiple products are processed using the same controller but require different parameters to be set.
