VTC-W100 is a lab-scale high vacuum wire melt spinning system to prepare amorphous metallic wire < 20-micron diameter via induction heating and rapid quenching on a specially designed spinning copper drum.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Features

  • The system consists of the vacuum chamber with turbopump, induction heating with vacuum casting device, and spinning wheel with max. 70 meter /sec. spinning speed
  • Can melt metallic sample around 10 - 100 g per batch.up to 2000oC
Power Requirements
  • Input Voltage: 208 - 240V AC, Three Phases
  • Input Power: 20 KW ( 70A breaker required)
