KSL-1100X-SV-RM is a compact crucible melting furnace designed for melting Li, Mg, and air-sensitive alloys in gloveboxes up to 1100ºC Max. BN stirring blade and rotating mechanism with vertical movement are included to make uniform alloys.

  • PID and Autotune as well as overheating protection

Working Temperature
  • Continuous: 1000 ºC 
  • Max.: 1100 ºC < 1 hrs
Heating Chamber & Crucible size 
  • Heating Chamber size: 58 mm ID x 158 mm H
  • One high-purity graphite crucible is included
  • 38mm ID x 125mm H

  • Quartz, BN, or Stainless steel crucibles are available upon request at extra cost
Stirring Mechanism
  • One rotating fixture is included with the melting furnace, which can be separated to be placed in a glovebox via the antechamber
  • A stirring rod made of Boron Nitrite is included to insert into the crucible by the movable rotary mechanism
    • Optional: SS316 stirring rod are available at extra cost. (please see the pic on the left)
  • A fibrous alumina plate is included on the top of the blade for thermal insulation
  • Rotation Speed: 0 - 500 rpm variable via a digital speed controller
  • Vertical moving distance: 5 - 200 mm manually adjustable
