SP-MSM-16AT is a 16-station automatic Arc Melting System with repeatable flipping function in a specially designed glovebox ( <1 ppm H2O and O2 level under Argon gas environment). Once 16 types of alloy samples are loaded in a copper hearth into the glovebox, the arc melting system will purge, melt, flip, and melt as programmed automatically, then send the solidified samples out to the antechamber. It is an excellent tool for exploring new-generation alloys at high throughput. It can combine AGV or a robot to achieve autonomous operation.

Main Features

Compared with the SP-MSM360 melting system, SP-MSM-16AT features

  • A 16-cavity sample hearth can be flipped up to 10 times, allowing the sample to be repeatedly melted and achieving a homogeneous alloy without manual intervention. （Pic. 1 & 2 )
  • The doors of the antechamber of the glovebox can be opened and closed automatically.
  • Once the sample heart is put into the antechamber, the system will finish melting, flipping, and return the solidified samples of 16 pieces to the antechamber automatically by clicking one button ( Pic. 3)
