RTP-MS is an Ultrafast Heating and Pressing Furnace (UHP or Flash Sintering) with a heating speed of up to 180°C/s, 2900°C, and 100 kg Load inside a high vacuum chamber made of stainless steel. The furnace may replace SPS for a small sample at a low cost.

Pressing Pressure
  • A bellow-sealed screw pressing rod to apply 10 - 100 kg force on the sample (manual operation, standard)
    • Pressure may change as a function of temperature due to thermal expansion or contraction
  • Ceramic pressing buffer plates
  • Motorized screw pressing rod with PID constant pressure compensation (optional)
    • Pressure control accuracy ± 1 kg
  • If you don't need apply pressure, we can remove the function to reduce a little cost.
Temperature Control
  • A digital IR pyrometer made in Germany for temperature control through a Ø35 mm observation window
    • Temperature reading range 1000 - 3000 °C
    • Temperature accuracy ± (0.5% F.S. + 2 °C)
    • Temperature reproducibility ± 0.3% F.S.
  • Manual heating mode
    • Temperature is regulated manually by DC current
  • Auto heating mode
    • Temperature is regulated by a PID temperature controller
    • 30 programmable temperature segments
    • Accuracy ± 3 °C
Vacuum chamber
  • SS304 water-cooled vacuum chamber
  • Nominal dimensions Ø345 × Ø 315 × L380mm
  • Graphite felt thermal insulation set
  • Ø138 mm quartz observation window in the front
  • KF 40 vacuum port to connect to a vacuum pump
  • 1/4" gas inlet and outlet with valves
