 VMC-3000 is a vacuum furnace with induction heating up to 3000 ÂșC, designed for graphitization of carbon fiber and sintering of ceramic materials at super-high temperatures. It also can also be used as a molten salt electrolysis furnace with an optional feedthrough flange of electrodes.

 Vacuum Chamber

  • The chamber is made of SS304 with double layer water cooling jacket.
  • Chamber size: OD Ί730 x IDφ700 x L 580mm
  • One Ί35 mm window is installed on the top of the chamber for the IR sensor.
  • One Ί120 mm window is installed on the front door of the chamber for observation
  • .Gas inlet and outlet ports are built in with a gas flow meter 20 - 200 ml adjuastable.
  • Vacuum level: 10 -2 torr by a mechanical pump and 10-5 torr by a turbo pump

Graphite Crucible & Refractory Liners

  • High Purity Graphite Crucible: 114 O.D. x 100 ID x 142H ( mm) ( ~1 L)  is included for induction heating.
  • Max. melting capability: 4 kg for Iron (tested)
  • The multi-layer special design refractory liner is included.
  • Note: Graphite crucible is consumable, please click the picture on the left to order a spare

Vacuum Pump

  • One 156 L/m Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump is included to achieve a 10e-2 torr vacuum. Turbopump is available upon request
  • Anti-Corrosive Capacitance Diaphragm Gauge (Gas Independent), with a measurement range up to 3.8 x 10E-5 torr, is included with a mechanical pump
Water Chiller
  • One recirculating water chiller with a 117L/minute flow rate is included 
  • Temperature range: 5 - 30°C
  • Water Flow Rate: 58 L/min
  • Water Tank: 70 Liters made of stainless steel
  • Power 220VAC +/- 10%, three-phase, 7.1KW , 50/6- Hz
Compliance
