OTF-1200X-S-II-R5 is a compact two zones rotary tube furnace with a 5" quartz tube, designed for powder coating, synthesis of core-shell structure, and calcining inorganic materials. Ref Article Scalable synthesis of silicon-nanolayer-embedded graphite for high-energy lithium-ion batteries

  • Rotary tube furnace. Rotary speed 0-10 rpm.
  • Dual heating zone, 280 mm heating length, <1100°C
  • 5" quartz tube with mixing blades
  • Tumbling volume 3000 ml; Effective volume for powder is <750 ml
  • Atmosphere controlled

  • 20 A power line is recommended

Processing Tube
  • 5" fused quartz tube with 4 mixing blades, tube length is 1100 mm
  • Optional SS310 tube with a max working temp of 900°C for special applications.
Rotary Gas Fittings
 
  • One pair of rotary inline fitting ( Magnetic fluid seal) with flange is included 
  • 1/4" tube fitting as gas inlet and gas outlet
  • Optional: the flange with alumina thermal blocks

  • Standalone temperature control tower
  • Two PID programmable temperature controllers with 30 segments
  • Temperature control accuracy ±1°C
