MSK-PRT-1000 is an automatic powder resistivity & compaction density measurement system for Li-ion battery powders.  It is suitable for testing the quality of Li-Ion battery powder and electrode sheets.
A laptop computer and software are included as a control panel to record testing data and the curve for the relationship between compaction density and resistivity.
Working Mechanism
 The powders to be measured will slide and move under the compression from external force, and the voids will be filled, and the contact area of particles will increase, which leads to solid pellet formation. The real-time resistivity and compaction density will be recorded for automatic analysis.

Control of the computer

  • A laptop computer with software is included as a control panel for the measurement of powder  compaction density, resistivity, and pressure up to 30 MPa
  • All data and curves are recorded into a computer

  • 10-52×105Ω/cm with 8-segment resistivity range
  • Accuracy:  +/- 5% in full range

Testing voltage range

  • 20 mV ~ 2000 mV

Testing Current Range

 Powder sample cup

  • The sample cup is made of plastics
  • 4 conductive electrodes are installed on the top plug of the cup, which has a diameter of 11.28 mm.
  • Inside area of the sample cup:1 cm2
  • ( 2 or 3 CM 2 cup is available upon request)
  • Sample thickness: 0~ 20 mm (position sensor with accuracy ±0.02mm).

 Force of pressing

  • Force is applied automatically as a designed program with precision load sensor.
  • The pressing force is measured by a digital load 
  • Pressing force:   0 -  1000 Kg
  • Pressure range:  0 - 100 MPa with accuracy ±0.01 MPa

Environmental Use Conditions

  • Working temperature: -10℃~+40℃,
  • Humidity: ≤65%RH
