1500C Atmosphere Controlled Induction Melting - Granulating/Casting Furnace (5kg) - IMCS-1500G

IMCS-1500G- is an induction heating system which is capable of auto-melting / casting granulation for various metal alloys up to 5 kg at Max. 1500ÂșC under Ar gas environment. The furnace can melt and cast bulk metallic material into 1- 6 mm diameter sphere granulation for making alloy mixing by the ball mill or further melting.

Casting Chamber
  • Accommodates flasks 5'' diameters x 9" high
  • The flask is swiveled out from the bottom of the crucible chamber to enable easy insertion and removal of flasks
  • Flask is driven by compressive gas > 150 PSI. The compressive air pump is required, but not included. You may click the link below to order:
Temperature Control
  • Max.Working temperature 1500ÂșC
  • S-type thermocouple allows the user to closely control and monitor the temperature with the most accurate readings
  • PID digital temperature controller to ensure temperature stability with accuracy of +/- 2 oC.
  • Bottom-pour design of the crucible ensures minimal temperature drop in metal casting during the crucible to flask transfer
Vacuum and Inert Gas

  • A double-stage rotary vane vacuum pump is included with this casting system
  • The vacuum gauge and handle provide easy monitoring of vacuum pressure
  • 5N high-purity Ar Gas is required for melting and casting

Water Cooling

  • 16L/ min water flow
  •  Please click the picture below to order if you need a recirculating water chiller
Compliance CE certified
NRTL certification is available upon request at an extra cost
Application Notes
  • Attention: A pressure regulator must be installed on your input gas tank ( click the picture below to review ) and have the output gas pressure set below 3 PSI at all times after opening the gas tank with the gas maintained in a continuous flowing condition. Gas buildup with pressure levels exceeding 3 PSI may cause irreversible damage to the furnace chamber.
  • Never heat the furnace while the gas release valve is closed, and a positive pressure condition exists within the furnace chamber. The pressure gauge must be used to closely monitor the chamber condition at all times during the heating process; please open the gas release valve immediately once the chamber pressure has reached over 3 PSI to prevent unforeseeable damage.
