Compact Levitation Cold Crucible Vacuum Melting Furnace10KW, 5g Max.) - FMF-10

FMF-10 is a compact Vacuum Float-Melting System for exploring new generation magnetic alloy and metallic materials. The system uses a 10KW high-frequency induction heater to make metallic sample 5g max) melting by magnetic vortex within a special designed water-cold copper crucible placed inside a vacuum-sealed quartz tube. Therefore, it can produce extra high purity metallic alloy without any contamination.
SPECIFICATIONS:

Quartz Tube & Vacuum Flange
  • One quartz tube included: 32 mm(OD) x 28 mm(ID) x 160 mm(L
  • One pair of Vacuum Flanges with double high-temperature silicone O-rings
  • Max. Vacuum Pressure:
    • 10-2 torr by the mechanical pump (included)
    • 10-5 torr by molecular pump
  • Bottom flange is controlled by an electric motor for easy sample loading and unloading

Vacuum Pump

  • One two-stage mechanical pump with exhaust filter is included
  • KF25 adapter, bellow, and valve are included for immediate use
  • The vacuum pump is integrated into the movable steel case
  •
Application Notes
  • The Melting System are designed for using under vacuum and low pressure < 0.02 MPa / 0.2 Bar/ 3 PSI
  • AttentionA pressure regulator must be installed on your input gas tank and have the output gas pressure set below 3 PSI with the gas maintained in a continuous flowing condition. Gas build-up with pressure levels exceeding over 3 PSI may cause irreversible damage to the furnace chamber.
  • Never heat the furnace while the gas release valve is closed and a positive pressure condition exists within the furnace chamber.
  • The flow rate for gases should be limited to < 200 SCCM ( or 200ml/min )
  •  WARNING
Read the manual carefully. Monitor and control the inside pressure of the reaction vessel at all time during operation. Otherwise, failure of operation may result in irreparable damage.
Compliance NRTL or CSA Certification is available upon request at extra cost
