OTF-1200X-ASD is a compact split tube furnace with a max. the working temperature of 1200°C. The automatic sliding door ( flange ) is built-in to open or close the flange automatically without tightening screws. Gas inlet & outlet valves and vacuum ports are controlled by solenoid valves without manual operation. All actions are controlled by a touchscreen panel or optional PC.

Vacuum Flanges

- The right side flange is installed with a gas inlet with solenoid valves and a quartz sample holder with baffles. The flange is driven pneumatically to close and open the right flange ( door) without manual operation.
- Vacuum level: 10-2 torr by mechanical pump and 10-5 torr by turbo-pump

Application Notes & Warning
 |
- Tube furnaces with quartz tubes are designed for use under vacuum and low pressure < 0.2 bars.
- Vacuum pressures may only be safely used up to 1000°CThe flow rate for gasses should be limited to<200 SCCM (or 200ml/min) for reducing thermal shocks to the tube
- Attention: A two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation. Click here to learn the installation of a gas regulator.
