3T Max. Manual Mechanical Press or Compressing Jig - YLJ-3

YLJ-3 is a manually operated mechanical compressing press (jig) designed for pressing samples in gloveboxes up to 3 metric tons or compressing split flow cells for preventing liquid leakage during the testing of the electrolyte. This jig features a built-in retaining mechanism that prevents the loss of compression force on the split cell, a major advantage over other compressing jigs where the clamping force of the split cell weakens once the mechanical jack loses pressure. Also, it can be used inside a glovebox without oil leaks risky.

  • Please note no pressure display on the pressing machine.
  • Max. force is about 5T when the single hand is difficult to press.
  • You may order a load sensor to display pressure (click Pic.1&2)  below to order.
  • The press can be used as a jig for pressing pouch cells or solid/liquid-state batteries at a constant pressure. (Pic 3&4) with digital load cell (optional)
