STX-200QX is a diamond wire curve cutting machine, which is designed for cutting irregular shapes samples of non-conductive materials, such as ceramics, polymer composite. The machine is controlled by the included PC and software. As long as inputting a 2D drawing, it will cut the sample automatically up to 400mm x 400mm x 100mm (L x W x T)Max.

  • X-axis slide travel: 0 - 400mm
  • Y-axis slide travel: 0 - 400mm
  • Max. cutting depth: 100 mm
  • Travel resolution: 0.01mm
  • X / Y axis travel speed: 0.06-6mm/min
  • Diamond wire moving speed: 15m/s max, adjustable
  • Diamond wire length: 0.35mm dia. x 230 meters Length (one roll diamond wire included)
  • Diamond wire tension: 0.1 Mpa - 0.5 MPa via compressive pump 
  • Sample holding platform: 530mm x 690mm (L x W)

  • One brand new laptop is included with pre-installed software

Coolant Pump &
Air pump
  • One water pump is included for recirculating coolant and cooling cutting wire during cutting
  • One compressive air pump is included to control diamond wire tension
The materials for cutting
  • The machine can cut almost every type of material as long as its hardness less than diamond
  • Especially good at cutting non-conductive material, which EDM can not be cut
  • It also can cut metallic material at low speed than EDM
  • Can cut any curve and straight line
Compliance 
  • CE certified
  • NRTL or CSA certification is available upon request at the extra cost
Application Note
  • Different material requires different cutting parameters
  • It is the customer's responsibility to find the best cutting parameter.
  • Diamond wire is consumable. Usually, service life is less than 30 hours at 1- 2 mm/minute cutting speed. Please prepare more spare diamond wire
  • Online training is available upon request at a reasonable cost
