PTL-MM02 (upgraded from PCTL0.01) is a Desktop Programmable Dip Coater with a color touch screen controller. It is designed for R&D Lab to prepare various optical or epitaxial films from a liquid solution. Dipping rate, pulling rate, dwell time, and life cycle can be set up by touch screen. The equipment can be used under Ar gas glovebox.

  • Accuracy: +/- 0.05%
  • Note Higher Dipping/pulling rate up to 1000mm/min is available upon request, additional cost ($1800) will apply.
Control Panel
    
  • 6" LCD color touch screen controller can program: 
    • Dipping/ pulling speed:  1-200 mm/min with accuracy within +/- 0.05%
    • Dipping/ pulling distance: 75mm
    • Dwell time:  ( 999 seconds max)
    • Cycle time:   20 times max.
     Voltage 
 
  • DC24V, 90W max
  • A universal power adapter for 100-240 VAC input voltage is included.
  • The equipment can be used under Ar gas glovebox.
Sample holder
Two screw sample clips are installed in the sample holder in order to carry the samples sliding up and down through two guide rods
Beaker Holder
 The beaker which contains the coating material (coating solution) will be placed into the slot of the beaker holder
Solution container
One 150ml beaker is included
Max. Sample size 50mm(L) x 25mm(W) x 2.5mm(T)
Sample weight less than 250g

  • Use an ultrasonic processor to disperse nanopowder or homogenize solution to get better coating (Please click on the second picture below for more information)  Pic. 2
  • Extension frame will support coating for a larger sample (Please click on the third picture 3) 
  • Click to learn about the Fabrication of colloidal self-assembled monolayer (SAM) using monodisperse silica and its use as a lithographic mask.
