1700 Max High temperature Muffle Furnace with TGA Function- KSL-1700X-A2-TGA

KSL-1700X-A2-TGA is a desktop muffle furnace (8L) with a precision TGA (thermal gravimetric analysis) function.  It is a cost-effective tool to analyze the phase transition of various oxide compounds from 100°C to 1700°C  in large quantity samples (250g max) under air ambient conditions.

SPECIFICATIONS

 Furnace Structure

  • Three types of size heating chambers are selectable:
    • 120x120x120mm ( 1.7L )
    • 150 x150 x150 mm ( 3.6L)
    • 200 x 200 x 200mm (8L)  (Demonstrated sample)
  • High-purity alumina fiber insulation surrounding the chamber provides maximum energy efficiency. 
  • Heavy duty double layer structure with a cooling fan to keep furnace exteriors safe to touch. 
  • Double-layer steel case with forced-air cooling to ensure lower safer face temperature.
  • One φ30mm venting port is built on top of the furnace
  • One φ6mm air inlet is located at one side of the furnace.

            • Continuous Working Temperature: 1600 
            • Recommend Heating Rate: ≤10/min
            • Temperature accuracy: +/- 0.1ºC
            • Heating element: silicon molybdenum rod

            Temperature Controller

            • Eurotherm 3000 precision temperature controller with 24-segment programmable 
            • Over-temperature protection and alarm allow for operation without attendant(s).
            • +/- 1 ºC temperature accuracy.
            • B-type thermocouples
            • Software is included and integrated with a force sensor
            • One laptop is included as a control panel.
            Electronic Balance

            • A precision electronic balance is located at bottom of the heating chamber with a 0.01 g resolution
            • The alumina crucible is set on the balance via an alumina rod
            • Sample amount: 10 g minimum;  250 g maximum.
            • Force Sensor output data will connect to the laptop to show the weight change curve with the temperature
            • RS485 port and operation software is included

            Crucibles

            • One 120 ml alumina crucible is included.  Please click Pic. 1 to order more
            • You may click Pic. 2 to choose ZrO2, BN, or Y2O3 crucible based on your application
