Water Cold Sealing Flange for 82mm dia.Tube - FL82KF25W

This is a pair of sealing flange with water cooling ports for OD 82 - 84 mm diameter processing tube. If you cannot use a ceramic block in two end of tube, you must use the water cooling jacket to keep flange cool (otherwise silicone o-ring may get damage).

SPECIFICATIONS

Features
  • Made of Stainless Steel with double high-temperature silicone O-rings on the flange.
  • Left side flange has a barbed needle valve,1/4" feedthrough for thermocouple inserted, and 1/8 NPS valve with installed Mechanical Pressure Gauge. 
  • Righ side flange has a KF25 port with a barbed needle valve. 
  • The assembly kit will seal one end of 82 - 84 mm diameter ceramic and quartz tube.
  • Vacuum meter is installed in one side of flange.
  • Note: You may order Digital Temperature Controlled Recirculating Water Chiller with 16L / min Flow to cool the flange and save water. ( click picture below right to order )
                       
Vacuum level
  • 10E-2 torr by a mechanical pump
  • 10E-5 torr by a small turbopump
  • 10-6 torr by hi-speed turbopump
Warming 
  • Must put a refractory tube block between the flange and the sample to avoid melting the silicone O-ring by heat radiation. Please order a ceramic block in related products.
  • Please do not over tighten the three hex screws on the flanges to avoid overpressure incidents. The recommended torque is 35~40 inch-lbs.
  • For liability considerations, MTI does not recommend or endorse the use of any toxic, flammable or corrosive gases with our flange assemblies. Please contact us with any concerns.

Application Notes
  • Max. furnace working temperature is 1100ºC without thermal block if tube furnace is installed with this water cold flange
  • Quartz thermal block is recommended for using the furnace with working temperature 1100ºC or above.
  • Please always use recirculating water chiller for water saving and protection.
