This is a pair of smart sealing assemblies for 3" vacuum tube furnace to seal both ends of 76 +/- 1.0 mm tube without any welding and gluing.

SPECIFICATIONS

Package included One Mechanical Pressure Gauge ( Optional: Digital Pressure Gauge), two flanges, two steel sealing rings, four high-temperature silicone O-rings ( 300oC Max.), and six screws


Structure
           

Features
  • Seal tube by tightening screws on the flange without any welding and glue.
  • Made of Stainless Steel ( SS304) with double high-temperature silicon O-rings on each flange.
  • Vacuum level:
    • 10E-2 torr by a mechanical pump
    • 10E-5 torr by a small turbopump and 
    • 10-6 torr by hi-speed turbopump

  • One end of the flange has a barbed needle valve, a 1/4" feedthrough (the nut is with M15*1.5 thread) for thermocouple inserted, and a 1/8 NPS valve with an installed Mechanical Pressure Gauge. (if you need Compact Digital Vacuum Gauge, please choose from the product option at extra cost. If you don't need a vacuum gauge, please instruct us when you order, we can take it off, but no price deduction )
  • Another end of the flange has a KF25 port with a barbed needle valve. You may need a KFD25 angle valve before connecting the vacuum port to the vacuum pump. Please choose the KF25 angle valve at the related product below.
  • Seal the tube by tightening the screws on the flange without any welding and glue.
  • 1/4" in diameter vacuum sealing assembly will connect with a 1/4" rubber hose.
  • Designed for MTI OTF-1200X Desktop Quartz Tube Furnace.
  • Excellent for any type of tubing: ceramic, glass, quartz, and steel pipe.

Notes
  • Must put a refractory tube block in front of the flange (see picture below) to avoid heat radiation melting silicone O-ring. You can order a ceramic block in related products.
  • Please do not over-tighten the three hex screws on the flanges to avoid overpressure incidents. The recommended torque is 35~40 inch-lbs.
  • For liability considerations, MTI does not recommend or endorse the use of any toxic, flammable, or corrosive gasses with our flange assemblies. Please contact us with any concerns.
