This is a smart sealing assembly for sealing the left end of a 50 +/- 1.0  mm tube without welding and gluing. The flange also comes with a K type thermocouple and the sample
holder to monitor the temperature of the heated sample. 

SPECIFICATIONS

Package included
  • One Mechanical Pressure Gauge ( Optional: Digital Pressure Gauge), one flange, one steel pressing rings, twe high-temperature silicone O-rings ( 300oC Max.) and three screws
  • One Portable Digital Temperature Calibrator
  • One K-type Thermocouple with sample holder and thermo block.
    • A strong neodymium magnet is embedded in the thermo block to enable it to be moved from the outside of the quartz tube.

  • Seal tube by tightening screws on the flange without any welding and glue.
  • Made of Stainless Steel ( SS304)  with double high-temperature silicon O-rings on each flange.
  • Vacuum level:
    • 10E-2 torr by a mechanical pump
    • 10E-5 torr by a small turbopump and 
    • 10-6 torr by hi-speed turbopump

  • The end of the flange has a barbed needle valve,1/4" feedthrough (the nut is with M15*1.5 thread) for thermocouple inserted, and 1/8 NPS valve with installed  Mechanical Pressure Gauge. (if you need  Compact Digital Vacuum Gauge, please choose from product option at extra cost. If you don't need vacuum gauge, please instruct us when you order, we can take it off, but no price deduction )  
  • Seal tube by tightening screws on the flange without any welding and glue.
  • Excellent for any type of tubing: ceramic, glass, and quartz pipe.

  • Please do not over tighten the three hex screws on the flanges to avoid overpressure incidents. The recommended torque is 35~40 inch-lbs.
