Hinged Type Vacuum Sealing Flange with KF40D Adaptor for 8.5" (216mm) Processing Tube -FL216KF40

FL-216 is a pair of hermetic flange assemblies for the GSL-1100X-8.5 series furnace and 8.5" (216mm) OD processing tubes. 

SPECIFICATIONS

Features	One pair of hinged hermetic flange assemblies with a load-lock door for quick sample loading.  Material: 304 stainless steel Left flange: One diaphragm pressure gauge, One needle valve, and 1/4" barbed gas inlet.  Right flange: One KF25 port, one needle valve, and 1/4" barbed gas outlet. O-rings: two sizes of silicone O-rings are included (max 250°C). Two pairs of Silicone Rubber O-rings with 224.6 O.D. x 213 I.D. x 5.8 Thickness, mm One pair of Silicone Rubber O-rings with 240.6 O.D. x 230 I.D. x 5.3 Thickness, mm Bolts: 6 bolts for flange mounting. Designed for MTI GSL-1100X-8.5 Series tube furnace.
Vacuum level	10E-2 torr by a mechanical pump 10E-4 torr by a small turbopump and  10-6 torr by hi-speed turbopump

Warning	A refractory tube block must be placed in front of the flange (see picture below) to prevent O-ring melting from radiation heating. You may order a ceramic block in related products. Please do not over-tighten the three hex screws on the flanges to avoid overpressure incidents. The recommended torque is 35~40 inch-lbs.
