This is the right side of the smart sealing assembly for vacuum tube furnace to seal one end of OD 100-102 mm ( 4") tube without any welding and gluing.

Features
  • Seal tube by tightening screws on the flange without any welding and glue.
  • Made of Stainless Steel ( SS304) with double high-temperature silicon O-rings on each flange.
  • Excellent for any type of tubing: ceramic, glass, quartz and steel pipe.
  • Vaccum level: 10-5 torr by molecular pump and 10-2 torr by mechanical pump




Descriptions
  • One end flange has a barbed needle valve,1/4" feedthrough for thermocouple inserted and 1/8 NPS valve with installed Mechanical Pressure Gauge. (if you need  Compact Digital Vacuum Gauge , please choose from product option at extra cost . If you don't need vacuum gauge, please instruct us when you order, we can take it off, but no price deduction )
  • Another end flange has a KF25 port with barbed needle valve. You may need KFD25 angle valve before connecting the vacuum port to vacuum pump. Please choose the KF25 angle valve at related product below.
  • Seal tube by tightening screws on the flange without any welding and glue.
  • 1/4" in diameter vacuum sealing assembly will connect with 1/4" rubber hose.
  • Designed for MTI OTF-1200X Desktop Quartz Tube Furnace.
  • Excellent for any type of tubing: ceramic, glass, quartz and steel pipe.
Warning
  • Must put a refractory tube block in front of the flange (see picture below) to avoid heat radiation melt silicone O-ring. You order a ceramic block in related products.
  • Please do not over tighten the three hex screws on the flanges to avoid overpressure incidents. The recommended torque is 35~40 inch-lbs.
  • For liability considerations, MTI does not recommend or endorse the use of any toxic, flammable or corrosive gases with our flange assemblies. Please contact us with any concerns.
