Purity
  • > 99.3%
Temperature (Inert)
  • 2000 °C max. under a protective gas environment (Ar,N2)
Temperature (vacuum)
  • 1800°C max. under vacuum

  • 900°C max in the air
Graphite Crucible Liner
  • To avoid graphite crucible contaminating the metal (e.g. titanium) during an induction melting, use a boron nitride crucible as a liner.
Attentions & Warnings
  • Consider the best interest of the crucible life span, operation under protective gas (Ar or N2) environment is strongly recommended. 
  • Max. working temperature in the air is 900°C, oxidation will occur @ > 900°C.
  • The crucible shall be stored in the dry environment inside a sealed container.
  • Never wash the crucible with water. Use fine sandpaper or cloth to remove any dirts or residues.
  • Not suitable for the use with Sb2O3, chromium oxide, molybdenumtrioxide, arsenic trioxide, titanium carbide, high lead glass glaze, boron phosphate, potassium phosphate, chlorine

  • Please note that this is a consumable item with no warranty coverage. Please conduct a thorough inspection for any defects before use. 
  • If damages are detected, retain all packaging materials, document the condition with photos, and report the issue immediately to the carrier and MTI.
