MSK-AFA-L1000-HDS is an economic, but precision film coating machine which can coat film with 5 microns thickness up to 1100 mm Length. One special hybrid film applicator is included which can do both slots die coating for thin film (< 10 microns) and tape casting for thick film coating (> 10 microns). It is an excellent tool to research film coating for perovskite solar cells, fuel cell proton exchange membrane, and the battery electrodes.

Hybrid Coating Head	The film coating head consists of one fixed 300 mm width doctor blade and one 200 mm width removable slot die head ( click picture1 below to see detail). The gap between the coating blade and the substrate plate is adjustable with +/- 1-micron accuracy via dual digital micrometers. (Pic. 2) Doctor blade: 300 mm width for a minimum thickness of 0.010 mm film Slot die: 200 mm width for a minimum thickness of 0.005 mm film
Syringe Pump	Easy to use 4.25" LCD touch screen (no computer interface) Holds syringes from 0.4 mm up to 30 mm in diameter Remembers previous settings on power-up Pumping rate: 0.1 - 45 mm/min Travel range: 0.001 - 120 mm Micro speed adjustment: 0.01 - 8 mm/min High voltage resistance up to 12 kV Precise reproducible flow rates Infuses Only. Does not withdraw the syringe
Platform	The platform is made of marble Width: 350 mm Length: 1100 mm Surface Flatness: +/- 2 microns
Travel Speed & Length	Travel Speed: 0 - 80mm/sec variable Travel distance: 300 mm or 1,000 mm selectable
Coating Thickness	The film thickness is dependent on slutty viscosity Minimum coated thickness is about 10 micron with +/- 1-micron uniformity by slot die coating at < 2500 mPa·s viscosity
Options	The top heating is available upon request as shown in picture 1 below, where the cover is installed on the top for drying film after coating at the extra cost.
