The EQ-MEA-E-TiBP is a split electrochemical cell with MEA structures for water splitting and CO2 reduction research.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Structural Features

  • The whole electrochemical cell was made by high purity titanium (Ti) metal. High purity nickel (Ni) is also available upon request for electrochemical testing under extreme conditions. 
  • Double O-rings were presented to provide high sealing quality. 
  • PTFE gaskets (0.3 mm thickness) with high electrochemical corrosion property
  • Flow Channels with serpentine shape for increasing reaction retention time. Flow channels with other shapes are also available upon request, such as parallel, vein type.  
  • The bipolar plates were equipped with heating and temperature measuring holes, which is designed for electrochemical testing under various temperatures. 
Channel Area 2 cm * 2 cm (other area, such as 1 cm*1 cm, 3 cm*3 cm, and 5 cm* 5cm can be customized upon request )
Valves & Fittings 1/4" O.D Tube Fittings for inlet and outlet ports
Application Options (Optional)

(1) The MEA electrolyzer with changeable channel and PTFE fold is available upon request:

       

(2) The MEA electrolyzer with visual window for in-situ characterization is also available upon request:

 

(3) For large voltage & current condition (Max. 20V, 20A ), the following eletrolyzer with heating and cooling functions can be considered. The maximum temperature is 100 degrees.
