1800C (3270F) Hi-Purity Zirconia Coating - 634-ZO-LD
Hi-Purity Ceramic Zirconia Coating, 3270oF (1800oC), for coating and protecting heating elements of high temperature furnace.
Specification:
Highly-filled zirconium oxide-based coating. Produces a hard, chemically-resistant protective layer which is stable with aluminum, molybdenum, platinum, rhodium, and titanium. Idea for sealing porous ceramics and protecting other ceramics, graphite and metal structures up to 3270 oF (1800oC). Exceptional for coating resistance wire heating elements, SiC and MoSi2 heating elements in high temperature furnaces, protecting them from residue buildup which causes arching and reduced element life.
Total Size: 17 oz./6oz. (Shipping in pre-mixed one part)
Recommended painting and curing procedures:
painting by brush (thickness less than 0.75mm)
Air setting at least 2 hours, then curing at 200oF for 2 hours
Distilled water can be used to thin coating. Use 1-2% distilled water by weight
