Lithium polyacrylate (LiPAA or called LA-136DL) binder is a water-soluble polyacrylate with abundant functional groups. The carboxyl groups can form strong hydrogen bonds with both active material and current collector. It is widely used for slurry preparation of silicon-based anode material, LiFePO4, lithium sulfur battery, and sodium ion battery electrode. Compared with the Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) binder, the silicon anode using LiPAA binder has better cycling performance.

  • Appearance: Milky white liquid with a light yellow.
  • Average molecular weight of LiPAA: ~700000
  • Solidity: 6% +/- 0.3% (wt%)
  • PH: 7-8
  • Viscosity (40°C): 9000-13000 mPa. S
  • No antioxidants added
