Poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) Aqueous Binder for Silicon-Based Anode, 200 g/bottle - Lib-PAA

Poly(acrylic acid) binder (PAA) is a water-soluble polyacrylate with abundant functional groups. The carboxyl groups can form strong hydrogen bonds with both active material and current collector. It is widely used for slurry preparation of silicon-based anode material, LiFePO4, lithium sulfur battery and sodium ion battery electrode. Compared with Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) binder, the silicon anode using PAA binder has better cycling performance.

Specifications:
  • Appearance: Milky white liquid with light yellow.
  • Average molecular weight of PAA: 700000
  • Solidity: 6% +/- 0.3% (wt%)
  • PH: 7-8
  • Viscosity (40°C): 9000-13000 mPa. S
  • No antioxidants added

    • Cathode: Cathode Powder+Conductive Graphite+PVDF+NMP 
    • Anode: Silicon Anode Powder+Condcutive Graphite+PAA
  • You may use Digital Battery Electrode Paste/Slurry Viscosity Tester to achieve consistent slurry
  • Please well mix the solution and make sure the binder is disolved into solution ( Vacuum mixer is better )
  • The product is not warranted if you you use for other applications rather Li-Ion anode slurry
