EQ-CR2016-Kapton are special CR-2016 coin cell cases with 10mm Kapton windows (5 set/pck). The window is designed for in-situ X-Ray analysis of battery material phase variations during charging and discharging.

  • 5 set of CR2016 casing per package
  • Kapton window for X-Ray beam penetration.
  • PP (Polypropylene) sealing O-ring.
  • Compatible with MTI's MSK-110 crimper

Kapton window thickness 0.18mm
Coating The positive side of the casing is coated with aluminum
Al coating thickness < 0.01mm

Application note
  • In order to reduce X-ray photons loss and get high resolution of X-ray signal for battery, please use carbon-based substrate as current collector instead of Al or Cu foil.
            
 

  • You may use lab press and dry pressing die below to prepare an electrode pellet instead of using electrode coated Al or Cu foil.
