This strapping tape is primarily used for strapping/fixing the battery core (electrodes wrapped by separator before being sealed into case)
of pouch/cylinder cell as well as good insulation functionality. Its material is based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET in short) coated with the specific
acrylic adhesive, which has strong resistance to Li-ion battery electrolyte.
